Our Policy

Math + Mandate Free Advocacy Consultation Policy The Math + Mandate Free Advocacy Consultation is designed to allow parents/guardians an opportunity to discuss concerns regarding their student’s educational services, IEP implementation, accommodations, evaluations, academic concerns, behavior concerns, communication with the school, or other special education matters. During the consultation, the Math + Mandate team will: • Learn more about the student’s educational needs • Listen to parent concerns • Discuss possible advocacy support options • Determine whether additional services may be beneficial The free consultation is informational only and does not include: • Formal document review • Written recommendations • Legal representation • Legal advice • Guaranteed outcomes or district action Math + Mandate is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or legal advice. If additional support is needed after the consultation, parents/guardians may be required to book additional services, including the Comprehensive IEP & FIE Review. Required educational documents must be uploaded before review services can begin. CONSULTATION EXPECTATIONS Parents/guardians agree to: • Provide accurate information regarding the student • Participate respectfully during the consultation • Submit requested information honestly • Understand that advocacy guidance does not guarantee specific school or district outcomes CONFIDENTIALITY Math + Mandate respects the confidentiality of all student and family information shared during consultations. Information provided will be used solely for educational advocacy and support purposes. By booking a Free Advocacy Consultation with Math + Mandate, the parent/guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
