About the Student Tutor Leadership Program

The Student Tutor Leadership Program is designed for high-achieving students who are passionate about education and mentorship. Our tutors don't just teach math; they empower peers, cultivate confidence, and develop essential leadership skills within a professional educational environment.

Position Details
  • Role: Peer Tutor 
  • Commitment: 8 - 10 hours per week (Flexible scheduling)
  • Target Subjects: Algebra I, Foundational Math Skills [Operations with Fractions, Decimals, Integers]
  • Location: In Person Sessions in the Grand Prairie Area 75052. Exact location TBA
  • $12 / hr, $120 / week, $480/month
  • Weekly Pay Every Saturday

Application Timeline
  • Application Open: April 1st annually
  • Application Deadline: July 1st annualy
  • Interview Period: May 1st - July 18th 
  • Mandatory Orientation: Last Friday of July
  • Program Start Date: First Week of September 
Application Requirements
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 in all courses
  • Completed application form (above)
  • Three teacher letters of recommendation, with one being a letter directly from your  math teacher 
  • Current grades for all classes and previous nine week / six week report cards for the year
